INCREDIBLE sushi, wow. The service was so fast and attentive, and sushi was phenomenal, inventive and so buttery. Also the chef was so friendly and knowledgeable! It was actually his 75th birthday the following day, and he let us know this was his 40th year creating sushi. He is a legend! A must visit if you’re visiting the bay. For photo reference: we got the Seared Bliss, the Salmon/Avocado, and the Toro and Sake nigiris. SO good.

We’ve been to Khatan probably six times now, and it seems to get better and better each time. We finally had the omakase, and all of the fish was very fresh and delicious. We also love the shrimp and vegetable tempura. It usually comes with a piece of jalapeño, which makes it feel special. And we always love the service and atmosphere. Tonight, every other track was Sade, which was lovely. Everything about the whole experience is very thoughtful.

Wow! I just went for date night with my daughter (back from college) and had the best sushi in the Bay Area!!! The Omakase was superb!!! The highlight was hamachi with truffle and the unagi was the best I’ve ever tasted. We also had the lion king (because which was “just right”! Our server was terrific - she recommended the chef special, Ika Sugata (Grilled whole Squid with Jalapeño & Mango 🤩) We also got the delicious Garlic Edamame and took an order of Matcha Tres Leche to go. It wasn’t “cheap” but it was soooo worth it!!! We will be back!

A delicious,satisfying and lovely dinning experience. If you’re interested in Mongolian Queens and culture you are in for a treat. Food came quickly, was prepared carefully and thoughtfully. They use all real crab meat, and make rolls by hand. Friendly staff greeted us and made sure we had a pleasant experience. The owner is great! Very kind, she treated us to a small dessert on the house(lychee crème brulee, deliciously interesting)! We enjoyed all of our food. Must try the Khatan roll! Also very much savored our Matcha Tres Leches cake!

Absolutely amazing experience! Stumbled upon this place on new years and we were kindly squeezed in by the staff. The waitress that tended to us was fantastic, the ambiance was great and most importantly; the sushi to die for! Both rolls we ordered (rhe Atlas and Bacon of the Sea) were extremely fresh & had unique twists that made them a genuinely new / great experience! They even served our order of green tea in a cute fish pot, so fun! The music was also nice. 100% will return with a reservation next time for sure!
